Membership Details
Griesbach Community League offers a family/household membership. It covers all individuals who live in the home. Membership fees are determined annually by the GCL Board of Directors. The current Annual Membership is $25. We are proud to offer a complementary, no fee, membership to veterans and active members of the Canadian Forces.
Memberships run for one calendar year, and are valid from September 1st to August 31st.
If you happen to purchase/renew your membership near the end of a membership term (in June, July or August) – no need to fret that you’re not getting your money’s worth. It will be valid for the next full membership term.
Member Benefits
As a member, you are entitled to vote at the Annual General Meeting or special meetings and to run for a position on the GCL Board of Directors. In addition, there are other benefits of membership and reasons to join:
- Griesbach’s Annual Party at the Park – free wristbands with community membership or $10/child for event wristband for Non-members

- YEG Pickleball – $5 +GST per hour per person from 8am-5pm. Reserve spot online, Griesbach membership required on arrival. After Oct 1st, 2025 rate is only available Mon-Fri (No weekends)
- Free Community swim at Commonwealth Community Recreation Centre every Saturday from 3-5pm and Sunday 1-3pm* (blackout dates apply and substitutions to other Rec Centres are offered
- Free Skating at any outdoor community league rink with community skate tags
Your membership money stays in the community and is used for community celebrations and improvement projects including playgrounds, parks, and community parties.
