The sun was beaming down on Patricia Park on Friday evening as close to 50 residents of all stripes joined us to hoist the Pride flag for Edmonton Pride Week. Griesbach Parks and Community Gardens Director Bryan Evans gave a stirring speech reminding us how just how far we have come – and the struggles that have been faced along the way.
We are blessed to live in such a dynamic, diverse, progressive and welcoming community where members of the LBGT community can feel right at home. Thanks to everyone who joined us, and all our well wishers on social media.
