Griesbach Minis preschool sports program registration information

Griesbach Minis is an innovative program that introduces preschool-aged children to sports, sportsmanship and team play and gives Griesbach parents a chance to meet one another. Children will participate in a variety of sports and activities throughout the season including, but not limited to, soccer, floor hockey, parachute games, gymnastics, basketball and other indoor games. The program is also low-cost, at just $50 for the entire season.

We are looking for 4-5 adult mentors to run the program and activities on Thursday evenings in the Major General Griesbach School gym from 6-7 p.m. from mid-October to mid-February. All coaching courses and security check costs for volunteers are paid for by the community and being a mentor counts as your volunteer commitment for the season.

The program cannot go forward without new volunteers. Please email sports@griesbachcommunity.com if you are interesting in volunteering.

A maximum of 24 participates will be accepted in this program and children of volunteers are guaranteed a spot. This is a parented program. Parents must remain with their children at the sessions and are they encouraged to participate in the activities, so bring those running shoes!

The program runs from mid-October to mid-February in the MGG School gym, Thursdays from 6 to 7 pm.

The program is limited to 24 participants for the 2018/2019 season. Children must be three years old by December 31, 2018 to register.
