Soccer Coaches Needed

Plans are underway for the 2016 outdoor minor soccer season, with registrations just around the corner. Griesbach is looking for male and female coaches at all levels. If you are interested in lending a hand we’d love to have you on our team. Last year we had 11 teams between U-4 to U-10 and expect it to keep growing.

Please contact Griesbach Sports Director, Bill Countryman to learn more.

As a coach, you not only help children develop skills and build confidence i. More importantly, you play a key role in giving them a positive role model and introducing them to values of team play and good sportsmanship.

Griswolds of Griesbach Winners

It is one of the most memorable holiday movie moments of all time. Clark Griswold goes a little overboard with the high wattage light display on his family home – causing the power grid to go down in National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.

“The Griswolds of Griesbach” contest was created to recognize those residents who take their light displays to the next level. Our judges trekked around Griesbach to pick the best and brightest.

Congratulations to this year’s grand prize winner, Audrey Mcdonald, who received a $100 Home Depot Card. Her amazing monochromatic blue light display on Decoteau Way won the judges over with its brilliance and tasteful elegance.

Second place went to 2014 winner, Terry Keck, whose rock star light show on Kapyong Ave. gets bigger each year! We’re sure he’ll put his $50 Home Depot Card towards even more lights. Rounding out our Top 3 is Michelle Marshal of Griesbach Road, who received $30 in Tim’s cards.

Congrats to all of our winners for making Griesbach sparkle extra bright.

Griesbach Toboggan Hill the place to be.

The Toboggan Hill at Central Park was the place to be on New Year’s Day. What a great feature of our community. You could hear the giggles and laughter from miles away.
