The bouncy castles were bustling with kids – more evidence of our young and growing community. This year, we doubled the number of face painters and balloon artists to keep pace . Once again, the firetrucks and military LAVs were a huge draw with wide eyed kids. The Roomers, kept the beer garden hopping with their catchy grooves. And the Amazing Race brought strategy and laughter across the community.
Art in the Park keeps exceeding expectations. The path along Bedford Basin was adorned with a visually stunning display of original art from 24 of this cities most gifted artists. We saw a number of beaming residents walk away with some pretty sizeable canvases under their arms.
We were delighted to have two of our incredible local builders step forward to sponsor this event: Pacesetter Homes and Homes by Avi. We appreciate your ongoing support of this community and all that we do.
This event is a huge undertaking, and would not have been possible without the tireless work of the many volunteers and community partners who helped make it happen. We’d like to thank the following:

Our Beer Garden Volunteers: Caitlin Ragsdale, Melody Price, Steve McIssac and Ryan Barlow.
